Combined Defensive Tactics Training Group [ cdt ]


The training group is available for people who want to better themselves mentally and physically in regards to real world combative training. We train hand-to-hand skills that allow you to handle yourself at the mid range, but focus on training at face to face distances which allows you to take most people out of their comfort zone and take back the control that you need to survive a critical self defense situation. We want to train you where most serious encounters happen, which is 1-5 feet. We believe in training with three emphases in mind: SPEED, SURPRISE, AND VIOLENCE of action. We want to avoid confrontation at all costs but if we have to act to protect ourselves or our families we will NOT hesitate. We will act and we will go home safe.

Current Schedule:  Class is every Thursday night at 6:30-8:00 PM.  The training group will be open to anyone 18 years old or older. The cost is $40.00 per month billed through our secure payment system.

Questions that we will be answering:

  • What is real Street Fighting? In the street there is no TAP OUT, or REFS, there are no POINTS, or TIME LIMITS! It's dirty, mean, dark, and very unfair.  That is why we train in everyday street clothes with modern weapons at realistic distances.
  • What does CDT (Combined Defensive Tactics) do?  We focus on what really works and train in the distance that real surprise encounters take place.  We are training in a modern real world martial arts comprised of Boxing, Israeli Haganah, Wrestling, Filipino Panantukan, and Kali.
  • What kind of fighting style or martial art do you use? In our opinion there is no one complete system; therefore we have put together the best of several very proven and effective systems to teach what really works in the most time efficient manner.
  • How do you know this stuff really works? CDT has pulled from very personal experience over many years of training both in the martial arts and Military/Law Enforcement.  Over these many years we have had the need to use what works and have found that most systems are mostly comprised of levels to make people feel good or make money.  Why would you waste your time learning or training under people with no real world experience to teach you how to survive a violent encounter?
  • How fit do I have to be to take part in the training group? We have a desire to see people train no matter what.  With that being said we will work with you no matter where you are.  We have people from 18-60+ years of age that have had every possible reason not to train.  They all push themselves to get better every week.  That is why we are there, to surround ourselves with people of like mind.
  • How long does it take to learn to be effective in this system?  When you start training with us you will soon realize that this is a lifestyle that will take you down many different paths, but we encourage people to train in the hand-to-hand side for at least 6 to 12 months to develop a solid foundation to build on.  Most of our students train with us every time they get a chance and come and go based on life’s commitments.
